That's right sports fan, after a fantastic 5 - 0 start to the winter indoor season, Team Lightning suffer a tough loss in last week's match play. Game 6 pitted the undefeated (and league leading Lightning) against a The Hood - who came into the game with a scant 1-4 record. We started the game off really well. This past week's match pitted us against Deacon Blues (I don't know their current standings as the league web site is down). It was a hard fought game by both teams, but the good guys were able to prevail! Game 5 - Lightning vs. Deacon Blues The final score was 3 - 2. Tonight Carli and I decided to forgo the typical Friday night of dinner & a movie, or bar hopping, or just hanging out at home and instead we went out and hit some golf balls at a driving range. Not such a crazy idea... until you consider that we live in Ohio, it's early February, and it's 12° F outside with a nice snow/ice mix covering much of the ground. Four game and four wins - that makes for a pretty nice season so far! I know I'm a bit late in giving an update this week... hell, kick off for game 5 is in less than 3 hours.
